What is Full Scope Medi-Cal?

Full Scope Medi-Cal provides health care services to low-income individuals, including:

  • Children (under 18)
  • Children in foster care and former foster youth up to age 26
  • Pregnant women
  • Blind or Disabled people
  • People 65 and over
  • People who get CalWORKs (AFDC) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) get Medi-Cal automatically

Pregnancy Only Medi-Cal is available for people who

  • are pregnant
  • are 21 years old
  • have a family income below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line
  • and do not qualify for Full-Scope Medi-Cal

What is Family PACT?

Family PACT provides no-cost family planning services to:

  • Low-income men and women, including teens.
  • Minors under age 18 may apply without parental consent. There is no minimum age for enrollment.
  • You are ineligible for Family PACT if you are eligible for Medi-Cal or your insurance covers family planning services except in some circumstances.
